2. Go to THIS site to try some Algebra games!  Please let me know which ones are fun, which ones are too difficult and which ones just don't work.  I would like you to try at least 4.  Please write down which 4 you try and a brief note about the experience.

3. Word Problem of the DAY.  (Extra Credit opportunity).
Please work through the following problems:
1. Farmer Brown had ducks and cows.  One day she noticed that the animals had a total of 12 heads and 32 feet.  How many of the animals were ducks and how many were cows?

2. If you take a particular two-digit number, reverse its digits to make a second two digit number, and add these two numbers together, the sum will be 121.  What is the original number?

3. A new basketball league was formed in which each of the teams will play three games against each of the other teams.  There are seven teams: the Antelopes, the Bears, the Cubs, the Dusters, the Eagles, the Foxes, and the Goats.  How many games will be played in all?  (Try drawing a diagram!!!)

4. Sam, Mamie, Ralph and Gail are all skilled at the video game Alien Invaders.  Gail scores consistently higher than Ralph.  Sam is better than all of them, and Mamie is better than Ralph.  Who is the better player, Gail or Mamie?
